NRC next: A complete 3D-printed pair of glasses
This articles describes the advantage of a new 3D-print technology. The current 3D-print technologies are not refined enough to print lenses, but the new technology can do that by printing a 'drop' and further shaping it. This enables to print lenses on demand, so there will no longer be a need to keep huge stocks with glasses.
